Op 23 maart 2023 promoveerde D.C. de Jong aan de Universiteit Utrecht op het proefschrift getiteld ‘Biomarkers for individualizing platinum-based therapy of patients with non-small cell lung cancer’. Het promotieonderzoek werd begeleid door prof. dr. A.C.G. Egberts en dr. V.H.M. Deneer (beiden afdeling Klinische Farmacie, UMC Utrecht) en dr. G.J.M. Herder (afdeling Longgeneeskunde, Meander MC). De belangrijkste bevindingen worden hieronder beschreven.
